The first international fair exclusively devoted to Video Art is an initiative which is engaged in making of Barcelona the meeting point of artists, art dealers, collectors, curators, museum managers and all kinds of public interested in video art. The Off Loop Festival will present in more than 150 venues video art works by 200 artists from 25 countries. The venues will be different museums, galleries and shops all over the city.
International Video Art Fair
LOOP, the first international fair exclusively devoted to video art, is an initiative of the Art Galleries Association Art Barcelona, which is engaged in making of Barcelona the meeting point of artists, art dealers, collectors, curators, museum managers and all kinds of public interested in video art.
From Nov. 18 to 21, 2004, the rooms of the first floor at the Barceló Hotel Sants will be occupied by 56 worldwide galleries which prior selection, will show their art works. Also, different organizations, magazines and publications will have a prominent space at the fair.
LOOP'04 is concerned with the promotion of collecting by means of a patronage programme that brings together different institutions and companies (Mecenas del videoarte) that have committed themselves to buy some of the art works at the fair.
