Donki-Hote. Man in the Holocene is a unique contemporary art project that explores the idea of the future. The Holocene is the current geological era. It began 8-12.000 years ago when the glaciers receded. All documented human history and civilization falls into this period.

Man in the Holocene is a unique contemporary art project that explores the idea of the future. It will last for one year only, from September 2004, and will never be repeated.
The Holocene is the current geological era. It began 8-12,000 years ago when the glaciers receded, and will continue until some indeterminate point in future time. All documented human history and civilization falls into the Holocene, a period which encompasses the past, present and future of our species Homo Sapiens Sapien
