15 Artists Debut New Work
Eight years after its conception in the
World Trade Center, Lower Manhattan Cultural Council’s (LMCC) studios continue to
unveil New York’s latest and notable emerging artists every six months.
This session includes; Scott Hug, founder of K48 Magazine, creator of collages and installations that
investigates pop culture and media obsession; Carter, whose layered Polaroid
photography and ink drawings form mask-like portrait busts; and Monika Goetz, whose
cool, clean work repurposes space with glass, mirrors, and light challenging a viewer’s
visual perception.
