Central to this body of work is the light as a vehicle that evokes an emotional and psychological response to the natural world. Dominant images in this exhibition, sea and sky, function both literally and metaphorically and convey the impact of light through continually changing conditions. The exhibition includes paintings generated by artist's recent journey to China.
