Pedro Cabrita Reis will exhibit four site-specific,
large installations made specifically for Magasin

painting. His ability to develop the medium has
led him to the three-dimensional and in the four
installations in the exhibition his work approaches
architecture.
The work has been developed in a process
including knowledgeable choices of found
material and parts of buildings that have been
worked on and shaped for their new purpose.
Pedro Cabrita Reis first came to international
attention as a participant in
Documenta IX in Kassel, 1992. He was the
Portuguese representative at the São Paulo

conjunction with the exhibition.
