Guy Hepner Contemporary announces a series of two exhibitions for 2006, designed to
showcase the biggest names in contemporary art and photography.
In "The Group Sessions", works from some of this generation's greatest photographers
will hang side by side, with the exhibition running for two separate single week
periods; February 6-11th, and March 6-11th.
For the first installment in February, the upper level of the gallery will be
dominated by the imposing black and white platinum prints of famed GQ, Vanity fair
and Rolling Stone photographer Mark Seliger, all of which feature in his recently
released book, "In My Stairwell". The lower complex will be mainly occupied by a
series of works by UK photographic legend, Bob Carlos Clarke. A bordello style
atmosphere will dominate downstairs, with works of a fetish nature echoing back to
the best of Helmut Newton. Further works by David LaChapelle, Andy Warhol, Roy
Lichtenstein and Keith Haring will complete the layout for the first week.
Mark Seliger and David LaChapelle are represented in the UK by Guy Hepner Contemporary.
Bob Carlos Clarke is represented exclusively worldwide by Guy Hepner Contemporary
Opening night: monday feb 6, 6-8pm (invite only)
