Snap Judgments

New Positions in Contemporary African Photography. More than 200 works by 35 artists from across Africa, the majority of whom will be exhibiting in the United States for the first time, will be presented. The exhibition will seek to define the nature of contemporary African art, which has emerged against a background of historical change.
