The exhibtion investigates the idea of portraiture in film in relation to landscape images, and will be shown alongside a selection of his recent works from the last two years. In Lewis' trademark Hollywood slick style, it will combine footage of a desolate Canadian landscape, filmed with a disorienting technique that gives the impression that we are simultaneously moving in and out of the image. To complement the exhibition, will be screened a programme of specially selected films that form the inspiration for the work.
