Young Lithuanian Photographers.
Joana Deltuvaite
- one of the most famous young Lithuanian Photographers, often called "Everyday
Life" photographer. She has participated in more than 20 personal and group
exhibitions in Lithuania and abroad. The photos of "Everyday Life" were
valued by French, German, Sweden, Slovakian, Portugal, Spanish, Italian
and Austrian spectators. In 2004 Ministry of Culture of Lithuania awarded
photographer with the prize for the best professional art debut abroad.
In 2006 German Alfred Toepfer foundation has chosen her for the project
European
Reflections.
Rokas Pralgauskas
- special personality, which started his creative life absolutely independently.
Though he hasn’t finished any specific art studies, he differs from others
with interesting and contemporary works, which already are acknowledged
by Europe. Rokas is not only photographer, he is also comic-strip creator,
published himself photography album and recorded CD Orchestra for accordion.
Rokas also often participates in international jazz festivals. In this
exhibition you can find the most important series of artist - Waiting
Girls.
Paulius
Petraitis - youngest participant - photo video artist. He was nominated
for the best experimental movie in the youth film festival Ekran (2002)
in Saint-Petersburg, Russia. He has also participated in various video
festivals in Lithuania and abroad. Though Paulius takes his first steps
in the world of photography, his works are not less original and interesting
than professional photographers’ ones.
