Necrotroph-optopolis. A site-specific installation
Necrotroph-optopolis. The artist presents a large, site-specific installation which boasts Perspex and paper panels that bear abstract and figurative passages, and a gravity-defying, suspended model cityscape, caught taut in a intricate web of connections. Elements that variously draw on the work and imagery of anarcho-utopian architectural theorist Lebbeus Woods and Rubens. A seductive vision of the inevitable triumph of entropy and decay.
