Marie-France & Patricia Martin are from Switzerland. They integrate their biographical fact as an essential element of their practice situated within literature and visual arts. Their performances are the starting point of their video and photographic work. They recently showed at the Palais des Beaux Arts, Brussels; Fri-Art Kunsthalle, Fribourg; they were part of the Fashion in Film Festival (Ciné Lumière, ICA, London and Museum of the moving image, New York).
Cyril Lepetit is French and lives and works in London. He has shown at the Camden Arts Centre, London; Abattoirs, Musée d'Art Moderne de Toulouse, France; ICA, London and Liverpool Biennial 2006. In 2002 he created The International Exhibitionist alongside, and as part of, his practice. International Exhibitionist is a series of events in which he invites other artists to exhibit. It is with a similar approach and interest that he will contribute to the performance of Marie-France & Patricia Martin.
