Photographs by Cynthia Greig. Photographing miniature-sized objects that appear "life-size" in scale, Cynthia Greig invents a world where gigantic, abstracted figures fumble to hold and operate tiny tools and everyday objects. Examining the betrayal of appearance, Greig invites the viewer to look beyond the obvious surface of things.

Jonathon Swift's Gulliver and Lewis Carroll's Alice experienced a skewed
sense of proportion and reality as they made their way through strange new
lands.

scale, Cynthia Greig invents a world where gigantic, abstracted figures
fumble to hold and operate tiny tools and everyday objects.
Examining the
betrayal of appearance, Greig invites the viewer to look beyond the obvious
surface of things. She focuses on that which exists between seeing and not
seeing, perception and experience to imagine what might happen when reality
meets fantasy.
