Who remembers where they are from?

Group show on the occasion of the gallery's fifteenth anniversary. The exhibition gives a survey of artistic positions which have formed the gallery's programme in recent years and brings together new works - painting, drawing, video, photography, sculpture and installation.

From 13 November to 22 December 2007, Galerie Martin Janda is showing the group exhibition Who remembers where they are from? on the occasion of the gallery's fifteenth anniversary. The exhibition's title refers to a work by Allen Ruppersberg (2007).

The show gives a survey of artistic positions which have formed the gallery's programme in recent years and brings together new works - painting, drawing, video, photography, sculpture and installation - by Martin Arnold, Adriana Czernin, Milena Dragicevic, Werner Feiersinger, Giuseppe Gabellone, Asta Gröting, Christine & Irene Hohenbüchler, Christian Hutzinger, Raoul de Keyser, Jakob Kolding, Július Koller, Jan Merta, Roman Ondak, Peter Pommerer, Allen Ruppersberg, Joe Scanlan, Ene-Liis Semper, Roman Signer, Adrien Tirtiaux, Johannes Vogl, Maja Vukoje, Corinne Wasmuht, Lois & Franziska Weinberger, Jun Yang, Jakub Julian Ziolkowski and Gregor Zivic.

Galerie Martin Janda was founded as alternative exhibition space in 1992. In the subsequent years, the field of activities was expanded to that of a gallery. Since October 1999, the gallery has been located at Eschenbachgasse 11, in Vienna's first district.
