The Artist: His Work and His Ideas
A lecture about Nunzio's work characterized by a use of natural materials such as wood, and lead and plaster, and evoke a strong primitive vocabulary: shells, shields, irregular shapes. Through abstraction, and with a minimum intervention on the innate nature of the material, Nunzio aims at focusing on the elegance and the purity of the forms. His work has been compared to that of Brancusi and Lucio Fontana.
