About fifty different events will be taking place at various parts of town
It is the world's biggest trade fair for Nordic design and has designated week no. 6 as Stockholm Design Week. During that time, about fifty different events will be taking place at various parts of town. The Fair is a trade fair at which the furniture and lighting industries come together to show the latest in furniture, lighting, office furnishing, design, textiles and other interior fittings for both homes and public spaces. It is expected to attract over 40,000 visitors, about 5,000 of whom will be foreign buyers, architects, designers and journalists. As part of the cultural program, designboom will host a cultural group exhibition of design professionals from around the world: the young avant-garde.
