Una sola anima…due spiriti. Due tecniche, un solo modo di percepire una determinata realtà. Con la serie di foto in 3D viene esplorata un’essenza, qualcosa di impossibile a dirsi con le parole, qualcosa di difficilmente descrivibile, il soffio vitale di una città inafferrabile, l’energia della città di Napoli. Con le foto 3D, quelle attinenti al luogo, allo Spirito, siamo portati ad esplorare, ad entrare dentro, a sentire l’aria, a respirare un’atmosfera altamente suggestiva, fatta di luoghi, ambienti, architetture, dettagli, monumenti, attraverso fotografie che interpretano questo rapporto con una chiave di lettura legata alla particolarità stessa delle foto: la percezione della terza dimensione resa possibile utilizzando opportuni occhiali forniti durante la mostra. In tal modo si vuole attirare l’attenzione dell’osservatore su quei luoghi solitamente adibiti al passaggio, dove distrattamente si transita con il corpo e con la mente. L’altra sezione è dedicata, alla gente, agli Spiriti, è fatta di bianchi e neri ed accesi colori, contrasti che sottolineano una città strana, paradossale, tacita e vivace.

La gente, gli Spiriti, insolitamente non sono associati a situazioni rumorose, è assente la folla, hanno una dimensione privata, non parlano. E’ l’interazione, la simbiosi, fra il luogo, spesso la strada, e l’umano, ad essere presa in esame. La simultanea presenza ed assenza dell’uomo viene fermata dallo scatto immediato e permanente della fotografia. Il colore rappresenta l’attimo che passa, che fugge senza essere visto; la capacità cromatica ha la forza di rendere evidente ciò che passa inosservato, di rendere l’intangibile dell’essenza umana. Emerge una lettura soggettiva di Napoli che al contempo vuole evidenziare nello Spirito, nel particolare, nello spazio architettonico, l’elemento di oggettività. Quello che si può toccare e vedere, è associato, alla parte delle foto sulla presenza umana che appare e svanisce. L’anima di Napoli è composta da Spirito e Spiriti, da soggetti ed oggetti consistenti eppure oscuri e misteriosi.

A single soul… two spirits. Two techniques, one way of perceiving a given reality. The essence of something unspeakable, indescribable, the vital breath of an ungraspable city, the energy of the city of Naples… are explored through a series of photos on metallic paper.

3D pictures relating to the place and spirit, are an invitation to explore, to enter, to feel the air and breathe the highly evocative atmosphere created by the place, the architecture, the details and monuments.
The other section is dedicated to people and spirits. The black and white pictures are contrasted with bright colours, underlining the strange, paradoxical, tacit and lively character of the city.

The spirit, the place, devoid of human beings, speaks through its austere silence. This silence is not an absence, but a hidden and sublimated presence, where imprisoned spirits live in the quiet presence of a tangible space. The hidden participation of humans fills the spirit with infinite enchantment. The unpictured human beings express themselves through the architectural work. Space, construction and details are underlined. There is an unusual association of people and spirits with silence. The crowd is missing. People have a private dimension, they do not speak. A monument is as alone and silent as the individual reflecting it. The photographs capture human beings within the urban landscape: the interaction and the symbiosis between the place, often including the road, and people is examined. The simultaneous presence and absence of human beings is captured by the immediate and permanent snapshot. The colours stand for the passing moment that goes without being seen; the chromatic aspect has the power to reveal what goes unseen, the intangible human essence. The result is an unusual, strange and abstract Naples, shown through its atmosphere and feelings that cannot be understood if they are not experienced. The city is analysed in detail, in a deep and analytical way.

A subjective reading of Naples is created, which highlights the element of objectivity in the spirit, the details, and the architectural space at the same time. What you can touch and see is associated with the pictures where human presence appears and disappears. The soul of Naples is composed of spirits and spirit, subjects and objects, significant yet obscure and mysterious.
