Abattoirs de Mons, Mons

This exhibition proposes a selective look at pictorial practices in France over the last thirty years, in their heterogeneousness. Artists of different generations, they question with a constant topicality the problems of painting, of its supporting media, of its identity, its limits and its exhibition. Work by: Cecile Bart, Etienne Bossut, Jean-Marc Bustamante, Christophe Cuzin, Bernard Frize, Dominique Gauthier, Bertrand Lavier, Mathieu Mercier, Miquel Mont, Pascal Pinaud, Daniel Walravens.
