CoBrA 60
Sixty years ago the experimental CoBrA artists were described as 'Scribblers, Daubers, Cheaters'. Nowadays, CoBrA is the most important post-war art movement in the Netherlands. The Cobra Museum of Modern Art will bring the rebellious spirit of this international group of artists to life in a scintillating tribute with over 70 superb works from the 1940s and 1950s. Paintings, works on paper, sculptures, poems, photographs, documentaries and documents present a fascinating portrait of an era marked by the concentration of creative forces which made CoBrA so unique.
