As part of the citywide Asia Week celebration, M.Y. Art Prospects is pleased
to present Relations, a group exhibition featuring U. S.-based Asian artists.
Participating artists include Allan deSouza, Pouran Jinchi, Ming Mur-Ray,
Daisuke Nakayama, Zhao Suikang.
Relations showcases works by Asian artists who have lived in United States.
Although their works are diverse in style and approach, they share the blurred
theme of "relation, " that is, i.e. relations between cultures, between
people, between human and nature, time and space, tradition and modernity.
Many works suggest Asian artists' engagement in contemporary global issues.

M.Y. Art Prospects promotes the careers and international reputations of
contemporary visual artists.
Under the curatorial direction of Miyako Yoshinaga, the gallery annually
organizes four or five one-person shows (usually in spring and fall) and one
or two group shows (usually in summer and winter). In addition to these
regular shows, M.Y. Art Prospects actively participates in high-profile art
fairs both in U.S. and abroad, with the mission of presenting gallery artists
in an exciting international art forum.
