Flatlands

Clive Caswell, Ben Cove, S Mark Gubb, Tony McCorry, Adele Prince, Furio Torrachi - Six artists borrow styles and techniques associated with comic strips, cartoons, instruction manuals and graphic design. Paintings, prints, and site specific wall drawings allude to the graphic nature of Modernism and architecture with clean lines and a uniform pared down approach. Title inspired by the novel 'Flatland' by Edwin A Abbott - 'a mathematical fantasy of life in a 2D world where all existence is limited to length and breadth'.

Gallery open Wednesday - Sunday 11am-5pm (Saturdays 11am -4pm) Admission Free. Late night opening from May 24, Thursdays to 7pm. (On occasion the gallery may close early on Saturdays for private events. Call to check).
