The largest, and longest running photographic art fair in the West, will present sixty galleries and private dealers from over twenty cities. As photography enters it's third century the finest
photographic art dating from the earliest 19th Century photographic experiments to the most contemporary photography and photo-based art will be exhibited for sale. Collectors, curators
and photographers will have an extraordinary opportunity to view thousands of images. Over 4000 people attended last year's event according to Stephen Cohen, the director-organizer of the event.

Works by Ansel Adams, Diane Arbus, Eugene Atget, Manuel Alvarez Bravo, Henri Cartier-Bresson, Imogen Cunningham, Edward S. Curtis, Michael Kenna, Andre Kertesz, Robert Mapplethorpe, Man Ray, Sebastian Salgado, Josef Sudek, Weegee, Edward Weston and many others will be included. Collecting seminars will be held before public hours Friday through Sunday led by: Jon Bennette III, collector and editor of 21st; A.D. Coleman, critic and author; Daile Kaplan, Swann Galleries
photography expert and Dale Stulz, curator and consultant. Lectures with important photographers will be named later.

The preview reception, Thursday evening, January 20th, from 6-9pm will benefit DIFFA/Los Angeles, a community fund for AIDS services.
