inIVA's new space
will enable young
and emerging
artists to further
their professional
practice in a
supportive
environment.
Artists will be able to use inIVA's resources
including the library and multimedia room and
access new audiences. Opening up possibilities
for experiment-ation, the emphasis will be on
developing new ways of working,without
focusing on an end-product.
In response to the ever-changing demands of
contempoary practice, artists are encouraged to
take risks and audiences are invited to
participate in the artistic process. Residencies
will run for 4-10 weeks and will be followed by an
open studio exhibition. The studio exhibitions will
be open to the public on Thursdays and Fridays,
12-6pm. During the residency itself, access will
be by appointment only.
