A Group Show with site specific works by Spanish artists: Elena Bajo, Jacobo Castellano, Josechu Davila, Democracia, Maider Lopez, PSJM and Avelino Sala, curated by Blanca de la Torre. Seven artists with radical strategies for engaging with urban spaces present works specially concieved for A Foundation London including a live performance on the bandstand of Arnold Circus. Friday 11 September (2-4pm) artists Democracia and Maider Lopez in conversation with curator Blanca de la Torre and Director of A Foundation Mark Waugh. All art students and recent graduates are invited to participate in a two-day workshop, run by artist collective PSJM. The workshop will be divided between theoretical debate about capitalism, mass media, and its relationship to art, and practical exercises for participants to develop their own project. The workshop is free, but places are limited so booking is essential.
