SPECIAL EVENT * CHILDRENS * RECEPTION
the One Ear Society sponsor this special
reception, geared towards the imaginative and the art
connoisseur. On Sunday afternoon May 26 2 - 4 p.m.
MS Yamamoto demonstrate the creation and process of
oil painting. She will also read a short story based
on her painting (pix included) "His Devine Spark".
This painting as many of Ms Yamamotos are alagorical
and most of her canvases include a golden child, an
animal, and is
of thought provoking concepts, created in the
individual viewers mind.
A interactive demonstration is presented by Ms
Yamamoto, Also a brief tour of the adjacent One Ear
Society Gallery is included whee refreshments are
served on this afternoons event.
This event was created by Annamarie Windisch,
Director of the O.E.S. to encourage and enhance the
cultural introduction of art to the young. It is
always on a Sunday afternoon so that the entire family
can participate as a group. Always cognizant that most
young people do not have the opportunity of a First
Friday with parents. However, the children are
encouraged to bring as their guest, parent and
grandparents to experience this unique Art Reception
sans wine and cheese, replaced by cookies and sodas
and balloons. appropriate dress is requested.
