OIOIOI International Art Gallery will host, starting from the vernissage on Saturday 6 February 2010 and for two weeks, the exhibition of the canvas painted by the talented, and for many aspects mysterious, neo-primitivist artist known as Anonymous20.
The art of Anonymous20 is an exploration into the most basic and elementary roots of the human being, of his feelings and hopes. For this reason, in the works of Anonymous20 is often present an animal symbolism, together with figures that have the characteristic of human bodies, gestures, positions, and that are caught in their fundamental expressions of fear or devotion, confrontation or loneliness. The use of the color, in this artist, is extremely blushing and strong, almost organic, denoting a corporal and physical approach to the canvas’ materiality itself.
The paintings of Anonymous20 belong to a spiritual fauvism, or, in other words, to an updated version of pictorial organic abstractism, which contain the forces and the colors of life, and put them together in the restless movement of the basic human dynamism.
