A conference for 'Artists on Artists Lecture Series'
R. H. Quaytman lives and works in New York. She received a BA in painting from Bard College (1983) and attended postgraduate programs at the National College of Art and Design in Dublin (1984), and the Institut des HautesEtudes en Arts Plastiques in Paris (1989). Exhibitions include solo shows at the ICA Boston (2010); Miguel Abreu Gallery, New York; Vilma Gold, London; and Silberkuppe, Berlin; and a survey at the Neuberger Museum of Art in Purchase, New York (2011). Her work was also included in the 2010 Whitney Biennial, and her painting series I Modi, Chapter 22, was included in the 2011 Venice Biennial. Established in 2001, this series of lectures highlights the work of contemporary artists from the perspective of their colleagues and peers, and focuses on artists in Dia's collection and exhibition programs.
