The 2013 International Sculpture Symposium brings together arts administrators, collectors and curators for an International dialogue about emerging artists, practices, and issues in the world of sculpture.
HAMILTON, New Jersey –The International Sculpture Center announces a once in a lifetime
opportunity to travel to New Zealand for the 2013 International Sculpture Symposium taking place
on February 11 – 15, 2013 in Auckland and the surrounding countryside.
The International Sculpture Center (ISC), the global nonprofit arts service organization, will bring
together arts administrators, collectors and curators for an International dialogue about emerging
artists, practices, and issues in the world of sculpture.
Symposium programming will be held in the new Auckland Art Gallery. Additional activities
include private tours of Alan Gibbs’ The Farm and John and Jo Gow’s Connells Bay. Participants
will have a breadth of optional programming to choose from, including exclusive visits to the
homes and private collections of Auckland’s top art collectors, small-group tours to artist studios
and significant public and private sculpture parks and exhibitions in the Auckland area, and
special post-Symposium programming.
The 2013 International Sculpture Symposium: International Dialogue will welcome participants
