A LIVE PERFORMANCE
To accompany his exhibition, Uh-oh! Pandaman, at Aspex, The artist, Zhao Bandi will give a very special, ONE NIGHT ONLY - LIVE performance at the gallery. The performance is based on his A Tale of Love Gone Wrong for Pandaman (2003) video work and will be accompanied by a string quartet.
Admission FREE, pay bar
Booking is not essential, but we recommend that audience members try to arrive promptly at 7.30pm. The duration of the performance will be around 30 minutes.

Pandaman Catalogue Launch & Gallery Talk Catalogue designers Russ Bestley & Ian Noble of Design partnership Visual Research will talk about their involvement in the project and their response to Zhao Bandi's work. Visual Research, designers of numerous exhibition catalogues, have also published their own books, including the recent Experimental Layout (2003) and Up Against The Wall: International Poster Design (2003) - both published by Rotovision. Based in Portsmouth, Russ and Ian are both senior lecturers in Graphic Design at London College of Printing. Admission FREE, pay bar Booking is not essential The Uh-oh! Pandaman catalogue featuring an interview, essay and extensive documentation of Zhao Bandi's work and the Uh-oh! Pandaman UK exhibitions and offsite projects will be available, at the special price of £6.95 for the duration of the exhibition (normal price, £7.95).
