The inhabitants of Strasbourg have several opportunities of meetings through various events selected around the country and the city invited. For this first publication, e.cites offers a french-romanian immersion between Strasbourg and Bucharest with exhibitions, screenings, workshop, conference, publication.

e.cités…a project invented and realized by apollonia- European art exchanges, for the city of Strasbourg.
e.cité…invites and presents every year in Strasbourg an European city trough the most dynamic and singular aspects of its culture.
e.cités…focuses its activities on the issue of local development by integrating the contemporary creation in urban projects.
From a federative perspective, the association aims to create strong affiliations between local and international networks.
The previous experiences of apollonia and its partners about the reception and the exchange between artists have left a considerable influence on the association. This led to a new thinking for these collaborations and also to a new approach of artist's residences, overstepping the traditional point of vue.
The wish of e.cités….to offer a deeper involvement of foreigner visions on the city of Strasbourg by considerering it as an open field for artistic activities.
The discovery of this Alsatian city by an external point of view enables a valorization of its treasures, a rediscovery of the town by its own inhabitants, and a transposition on an European scale.
