Added ingredients: new international artists. A group exhibition including all of the artists taking part in this year's international residency. Esra Ersen, Ivan Grubanov, Alisa Margolis, Thomas Raat, Stefan Saffer, S&P Stanikas: six artists and the projects produced or developed during their stay in London.
This summer Delfina Studio Trust is delighted to present a group exhibition including all of the artists taking part in this year’s international residency. Delfina is the largest international residency programme in the UK and for eighteen years has been host to many exciting and influential artists at an important stage in their career.
The first group show of resident artists from abroad to be held at the Delfina gallery, the exhibition will provide a unique opportunity to see new work by this year’s six artists and the projects produced or developed during their stay in London. Organised by the residents, Mrks & Spncr - Added ingredients: international artists brings together artists based in Paris, Amsterdam, Belgrade, Istanbul and New York.
The artists exhibiting are:
Esra Ersen (born 1970) recently had a solo shows the Frankfurt Kunstverein e.V. and The O.K Center for Contemporary Art in Linz, Austria.
Ivan Grubanov (1976) had recent solo shows with The Museum of Contemporary Art in Belgrade and Stroom Den Haag.
Alisa Margolis (1975) recently had solo shows with Vilma Gold gallery in London
and Galerie Diana Stigter in Amsterdam.
Thomas Raat (1979) had solo shows with Transit Gallery in Mechelen, Belgium and De Expeditie Gallery in Amsterdam.
Stefan Saffer (1969) had solo shows with Kate MacGarry, London and shows with Villa Grisebach Gallery in Berlin.
S&P Stanikas (1961 & 1962) had recent solo shows with Volitant Gallery, Austin, Texas, USA and White Box Gallery, New York
