Roskilde discloses new names and music schedule
Chill Out Lounge with famous international DJ's

Roskilde has recently added eight new names to this years' impressive music programme. From Cuba, Roskilde Ballroom presents salsa-singer Isaac Delgado and the rap-group Orishas, who plays dancemusic with Afro-Cuban rhythm. The French orchestra Lo' Jo performs at Roskilde Ballroom as well, playing their fascinating multi-ethnic music.

The Flaming Sideburns opens the Green Stage Thursday 17:45 with their Finnish interpretation of real 60ies rock 'n' roll. From Japan the experimental girl-trio Ex-Girl plays the White scene. DJ Danny Howells performs on White Scene as well with a set that will set the dance-floor on fire. Raz Ohara performs as a part of the Kitty-Yo-show on Blue Stage, where the audience will be able to enjoy soon-to-be 80 year old T-model Ford with his electric guitar blues.

The complete summary of the approximately 150 scheduled artists can be reviewed at the site. Press menu option 'Bands'.

FAMOUS DJS PLAY THE CHILL-OUT LOUNGE

On request Kenneth Bager has accepted to co-ordinate the music in the Chill-out Lounge. This year the Lounge is situated near Blue Stage and sports café-like surroundings suitable for the enjoyment of the new world music. The music programme offers both established names as well as new talents. The impressive line-up involves both Danish and international DJs inspired by genres such as Dub, Hip Hop, Jazz, Soundtracks, Afro, Latin and intelligent Techno.

Djs playing: DJ Ravin, Chris Coco, Banzai Republic, Grasskirt, DJ Daood, Phil Mison, Laid Back, Rob Da Bank,DJ Disse, Bliss, Orchestral World Groove and Kenneth Bager.

Whereas the music definitely is Roskilde Festival's main attraction, it is far from the only one. No matter where you look something fascinating is bound to entertain and provoke - as always quality is a major concern along with the care of the individual and the environment.
