V Salo' Internacional d'Artistes Contemporanis Independents. Euroart is the only international salon of independent art (painting, sculpture and photography) created by BCN Art Directe under the motto "l’art al teu abast" (art at your fingertips), where the artist shows personally its works to visitors. This art show was born willing to create an alternative circuit of art where the more than a hundred participating artists-unknown in the usual art circuits of Spain-could be able to introduce their work directly to the city of Barcelona and to the professionals of the sector.

Euroart is the only international salon of independent art
(painting, sculpture and photography) created by BCN Art
Directe under the motto "l’art al teu abast" (art at your
fingertips), where the artist shows personally its works to
visitors.
This art show was born willing to create an alternative circuit
of art where the more than a hundred participating artists
-unknown in the usual art circuits of Spain- could be able to
introduce their work directly to the city of Barcelona and to the
professionals of the sector.
BCN Art Directe is an art’s promotion society created by the
writer Ramon Draper (passed away in 1999) and the painter
Carmen Marcos, who from 1997 oranizes Euroart yearly, getting
no comission neither from the artist nor from the purchaser
from the saled or purchased work.
BCN Art Directe gets in contact with the artists through the
Internet 90% of the cases. A quick and agile way which permits
to make contacts with artists from other countries and offer
them a space in Barcelona where to show and sell their work.
Even that after four editions a big number of artists contact
directly with the art’s promotion society through its web page:
www.bcnartdirecte.com and with other artists who participate
in former editions.
The present artists in each edition and the quality of their work
are supported by their professional development and artistic
solidity, already consolidated in their origin countries.
In this environment charged of choice’s possibilities, the public
will be able to adquire works from 30.000 up to 1.000.000
pesetas, prices always outstanded by the own author.
During the following year of the celebration of Euroart, BCN Art
Directe promotes the participating artists of the show, turning
up in international art fairs.
Euroart is stablished as one of the most plural, comunicative
and available art shows of Catalonia, offering a great range of
styles and art from many differnet countries that, year after
year, thanks to the artistic rotation, dinamizes the cultural
exchange and the art market of our country.
what is it?
Euroart is the first Internacional Art Show for
Contemporary Independent Artists held in Spain.
Is organized by BCN Art Directe from 1997.
"L’art al teu abast" (Art within range) is the motto.
Gives shelter to works of more than a hundred plastic
artists from all over the world, who show painting,
sculpture and photography.

such as Australia, Moldavia, EUA, Ucraina and Finland, as
a show, participate in Euroart taking to the show

Each artist attends personally its own stand.
The authors offer: plastic works, sculpture and
photography.
Each year the artistic proposals are renewed in order to
present novelties.

As every year Euroart takes place in the Sala Marqués de
Comillas at the Reials Drassanes de Barcelona. Emblematic
gothic building from the XIII century, close to the Port,
an strategic point of comercial and turistic exchange.

The show will be held 5th - 8th Octubre 2001.
Opening hours to the public will be 11:00 - 21:00 horas
non-stop.

The coming public can see and purchase directly to the
artist works which prices, always on behalf the artist
criteria, oscilates from 30.000 and one million pesetas.
The direct contact between the two parts eases the
sales.

Is an art’s promotion society created in 97 by Ramon
Draper and Carmen Marcos, that acts as a link between
the author and the potential purchaser facilitating in all
the editated supports the contact adress.
Provides the necessary infrastructure for the
development of the event and is responsible of the good
term of it, besides offering the further information to
media and interested.
Gets no comission for the saled or purchased work.
BCN Art Directe gets in contact with the 90% of the
artists through the Internet and viceversa.
Each author has at its disposal a web space to show one of its
works, besides a link with its own web page from the one of the
promotor.
