seeking Director / Principal Curator

CoCA - Centre of Contemporary Art, Christchurch

We are seeking a Director / Principal Curator to lead the Centre of Contemporary Art (CoCA) into new and exciting territory. We aim to make a unique contribution to the cultural life of Christchurch by presenting contemporary art programmes that enrich and strengthen our community, enabling and encouraging critical dialogue about the world we live in. You have a high level of commitment to local and international contemporary art. You are experienced in art curation and art gallery management, have excellent communication skills and are able to cultivate and sustain relationships with supporters, artists, patrons, staff, the Curatorium and board members.
