About the Artists
Marlene Alt is a professor of art from Southern Oregon University and is known for her unique mixed-media installations. Still Waters, her DVD projection on an iron bed frame, was created during her residency at Crater Lake National Park.

Tony May is a Professor of Art at San Jose State University and teaches in both pictorial and spatial arts areas. He works in a variety of media and often creates conceptual site-responsive installations, such as the piece he created for Domestic Odyssey.

Richard Whittaker is a Berkeley writer and publisher who began his magazine Works + Conversation in 1997. The magazine features interviews with contemporary artists, with the idea that viewers should see and experience art directly, as the artist intended, without the intervention of theoretical critique.
