This summer Jablonskiene was invited to present a paper at the international symposium "After the Event: Rewriting Art History" organized within the framework of the Biennale of Sydney 2006 an event that also assayed the biennale itself. Since 1973 the Biennale of Sydney has presented the work of more than 1200 artists from some 60 countries. Lithuanian artists, however, have never participated in its exhibitions.
