A work which was refused by the 2009 Venice Biennale management. Part the Casanova forever circuit
The Frac is proposing to house Charlier's work which was refused by the 2009 Venice Biennale management. The posters in the series "100 artists' sexual organs" are thus being shown in Nimes and the exhibition is being extended by a poster display on the Casanova forever circuit. With Clartvision, Jacques Charlier films and engages cultural partners, artists, and exhibition visitors, in the form of interviews conducted with Ute Willaert, his disconcerting and merry accomplice and co-organizer. These videos can be seen on the circuit of the exhibition, and are being projected on the gallery window. Curators Bernard Fabvre and Elisabeth Krotoff; the exhibition proposed as part of the contemporary art festival Casanova Forever.
