A private commission. Part of the contemporary art festival Casanova Forever
A private commission of a space designed to accommodate a strange collection of dolls. Paul-Armand Gette has for a long time been exploring the gestures of seduction, and he pins them down, like a perfect entomologist, at the tip of snapshots he takes of his models, young women who are consenting and in cahoots. The artist also draws, and the caress of his chalk on the walls turns him at times into a "great peeping tom", unconcerned about prudish decorum! As for Didier Trenet, his drawings are bits and pieces of a frenzied, not to say "clownish" visual rhetoric. The bombast of rococo lattices, the scrolls and curls of carbon trace the merry licencentiousness of a contemporary art! Otherwise put, physical. Exhibition in cooperation with the Centre national des arts plastiques, the Frac Ile-de-France, the Centre international du verre et des arts plastiques (CIRVA, Marseille), and private collectors. Curator Aleth Jourdan; the exhibition proposed as part of the contemporary art festival Casanova Forever.
