A group project including the installation of a working video perisope will be on view at London Street Projects. The perisope will penetrate the ceiling of the gallery and will view the surrounding Silverlake area as well an installation on the roof of the building. An interpretation of the ruminations and perceptions of the leader of the legendary Antartic expedition of 1912: Sir Ernest Shackelton.
Being Ernest Shackelton, at LSP*
On September 19th, 20th and 21st, a group project including the
installation of a working video perisope will be on view at London Street
Projects. The perisope will penetrate the ceiling of the gallery and will
view the surrounding Silverlake area as well an installation on the roof
of the building. Collaborating artists will be working anonymously to
create a variable dimension, time-altered, installation which is an
interpretation of the ruminations and perceptions of the leader of the
legendary Antartic expedition of 1912: Sir Ernest Shackelton. The
exhibition will continue through October 26th, and will also be on view
during regular gallery hours: 12-6 on Saturdays. There will be a CLOSING
RECEPTION on October 26th, Saturday 7-10pm. For more information please
