Artist Talk with Matias Faldbakken. Matias Faldbakken, who with his exhibition 'That death of which one does not die' alludes 'to the precise architecture of classicism and the spirit of enlightenment' (Suddeutsche Zeitung), and 'uses the museum space to undermine and reject conventions of art presentation' (Hessisch-Niedersachsische Allgemeine), will personally be a guest at the Kunsthalle on 22 September. Together with Rein Wolfs and Giovanni Carmine (director of the Kunst Halle Sankt Gallen), Faldbakken will talk about his artistic concept of the anti-gesture, which is clearly reflected in his current exhibition at the Fridericianum.
