This event is being held in conjunction with the exhibition 'Between Picture and Viewer: The Image in Contemporary Painting', on view at the Visual Arts Gallery. Katy Siegel is an author and professor of art history at Hunter College. She is Editor in Chief of Art Journal and a contributing editor at Artforum. Her curatorial work includes 'High Times, Hard Times: New York Painting, 1967-1975' (2006). From 7pm, admission free.
