Time Boxes. Kunsthalle Wien Award 2010

Kunsthalle's project space is showing Monika Piorkowska's 'Time Boxes' as of 15th of December. The objects inside her glass boxes are built from material (such as film or audio footage) left over from conversations and interviews she conducted with people all around the globe via the Internet. The exhibition is part of the Kunsthalle Wien Award, which is staged annually by the University of Applied Arts and Kunsthalle. Only graduates from certain visual arts courses at the University are eligible to win this award. Opening December 14th, 2010 at 19.
