The ethics of power in pedagogy: an exploration of the roles and relations within social and participatory practices. Public Relations is a new series of talks and discussions curated by Artist Fellow Emma Smith as part of The Showroom's Communal Knowledge participation programme. Guest speakers Emma Hedditch (artist), Ewa Wisniewska (Quintin Kynaston School) and Jane Sillis (Director of engage) will join artist Emma Smith in an open discussion on the power structures at play in collaborative and participatory practices, addressing: terms of engagement, authorship, hierarchies and the nature of their transparency. Tuesday 25 January, 6.30-8.30pm.
