A network of independent project spaces and art initiatives. For it's next structural meeting the network will be guest of Flutgraben e.V. introduction by Inga Zimprich / Sonke Hallmann. In addition we will discuss the updated positioning paper. The effects of the actual financial crisis on the art field have already left visible traces within anyways, economically instable field, characterized by precarious working conditions for artists. Many project spaces, art initiatives, art projects and galleries are facing restructurings, major financial difficulties or had to close down already. Art mirrors society, utopian concepts are basic conditions for progress, society enables art production and reception through participation. Artists are part of operating systems, utilization systems and validation systems and at the same time they could be part of a politically acting infrastructure.
