On June 10th in New York, Immaterial presents
IMMATERIAL BINGO
Art bingo as it's never been played before!
3:30-6:00, first game at 4:00
The Ohio Theater, 66 Wooster Street, between Broome and Spring
Admission is free. Two dollars per game to play.
Immaterial Bingo is played by official bingo rules, but every game has a
highly unusual way of producing random numbers. Devices used will include a
modified bicycle, a hedgehog, barcode scanners, video, darts, pictograms,
radio stations, and bandaids.
Jonathan Ames, novelist and performance artist, will serve as MC and bingo
caller. Winners receive prizes made by artists including Joe Amhrein, Devon
Dikeou, Spencer Finch, Nina Katchadourian, Sheila Pepe, & David Scher.
Immaterial also presents the first of its monthly art and sound projects
for the web:
