Global Journeys with Asian Ceramics. Curator's Circle lecture series
A journey through Asian ceramics in conjunction with Blue & White: A Ceramic Journey with this lecture series presented by the Asian art department and Curator's Circle. Conversations with Curators feature lively discussions with different curators on the first Friday of every month. During Marvelous Mud, additional programs highlight the various clay exhibitions on view. On August 5, Margaret Young-Sanchez will lead a tour of Marajo: Ancient Ceramics From the Mouth of the Amazon (meet on level 2 of the Hamilton Building). On August 19, join Eric Paddock for a curator's-eye view of Dirty Pictures (meet on level 7 of the North Building). On September 2, go Searching for Clay Among the Old Masters with curator Timothy Standring (meet on level 6 of the North Building). Free with museum admission; no reservations required.
