ReViewing Black Mountain College 3
The 3rd annual conference is a 3-day exploring John Cage's Circle of Influence, including his work and associations during the three summers he was at Black Mountain College (1948, 1952, and 1953) as well as his innovative work in music composition and visual art after BMC. The program for the weekend includes music, performances, installations, exhibitions, films and scholarly presentations. Activities commences on Thursday night, Oct. 6th when the Mobile Art Lab Easel Rider projects imagery onto the BB&T building. Then, from noon to 1:30 on Friday, Oct. 7th a 90-minute MusiCircus takes place all over town. All program is on the web-site.
