The exhibition shows works from thirty international contemporary artists presenting monumental sculptures and installation. Curated by Susanne van Hagen.
The Donjon de Vez, a private site, registered historic monument, will welcome, for the first time in France, a selling exhibition with about 30 international modern and contemporary artists.
This project has been initiated by Francis Briest, auctioneer and president of Artcurial | Briest-Poulain-F. Tajan auction house and leader in his area of expertise Modern and Contemporary Art. The sculptures for this exhibition have been selected by Susanne van Hagen, writer, curator and consultant to famous institutions such as the Palais de Tokyo.
The environment and the medieval architecture will be used in the scenography: the works, mostly monumental and outdoors (among which fifteen are produced specifically for the exhibition) will fill the park, the garden of the landscape architect Pascal Cribier, as well as the XIVth century chapel with Daniel Buren two large windows built in 2006.
For the first time, collectors and visitors will be able to purchase, in this outstanding estate, the exhibited artworks, ranging from €5,000 to €500,000
