In the project NOMAD JOB, two artist-groups reflect on the terms economy and work. Under the influence of a globalized economy, traditional working-concepts change and leave the individual and society with the insecurity of where and how to position themselves.
Within the range of new definitions and values of work, NOMAD JOB interacts with the public of SparwasserHQ. In WORKAHOLIC NIGHT and in the open project-space workers, artists, unemployed and self-exploited are invited to reflect on the new economic grounds of the expanded European Union, as well as on their own relation to work.
There are no serious "theoretical foundations" for any of the versions of globalization, including the investor-rights versions. The international economy is far too poorly understood for there to be systematic "theories" in any serious sense.

Under the name BIG HOPE, Miklos Erhardt/Dominic Hislop present "Talking About Economy", a video installation and wall documentation of interviews with different kinds of workers in Hungary and Germany. Questions, attitudes and expectations about the past, present and future of economy and work are expressed, in particular with regard to the imminent expansion of the European Union. The three production-phases of this project, Hungary/Germany/Hungary, create a virtual dialogue that bounces back and forth between these two sides of the eurozone.

REINIGUNGSGESELLSCHAFT set up a laboratory to elaborate a psycho-social diagram, describing current forms of self-exploitation. The target group are the visitors to SparwasserHQ, workers in NGO´s, artists, unemployed, entrepreneurs and all other people involved in deregulated working structures. The laboratory consists of an office-unit and a photo studio to portray and collect data from the participants. This results in a growing installation of statements and portraits, displaying different concepts of work.
To introduce into their project, REINIGUNGSGESELLSCHAFT show 60 photographs and a wall painting documenting a recent survey done in Chemnitz.
