As part of TRACK, S.M.A.K. brings together, in this presentation from the collection, several works created for the ‘Chambres d’Amis’ city-wide exhibition in 1986. It was unique in its departure from the museum building and its introduction of 51 works of contemporary art into private houses in Ghent’s inner city. This presentation fits in with TRACK and with ‘Le Décor et son Double’ by Daniel Buren, one of the artists in ‘Chambres d’Amis’.
