A comprehensive overview of artsit's work and a representative selection of Sala's much-discussed short films and video installations. This is accompanied by a number of photographs and also a new sound-work displayed in the public space.
The young Albanian artist Anri Sala (born in 1974 in Tirana, now living and
working in Paris) has displayed
an extraordinarily lively exhibition activity over the past few years
(including the Manifesta 3 in Ljubljana and
the Young Artist's Prize of the Venice Biennale, 2001) followed by a great
deal of international attention.
The Kunsthalle Wien now shows, within a comprehensive overview of his work,
a representative selection of
Sala's much-discussed short films and video installations. This is
accompanied by a number of photographs
and also a new sound-work displayed in the public space.
